I wear them everytime I dive dry. A P-Valve would have been great, but that system works as well. And I have actually made a "deposit" a few times, we do long drifts and sometimes have to wait 5-10 minutes for the boat to pick us up.
An added bonus is that these things are made to absorb moisture, so they act as effective insulation as well.

I got my first dry suit last year and was told to order it with a factory installed p-valve, but it arrived without. It hasnt been a problem so far and I have done a stack of 100 minute cave dives and have been able to hold it no problem. The whole idea of both the condom catheter or the soggy daiper make me a little uncomfortable. I think in the event that I plan longer dives I would probably go for the daiper tho.

I just don't like the idea of diving some less that pleasent water conditions and have the valve leak. If I don't want to put my hand in it there shirley isn't an improtant part going in it. :11:

I have discussed this with my two and a half year old daughter who is an expert on daipers, and she recommends the pink ones with the princesses on the front!
