Greetings all,
I am the current US Navy Supervisor of Diving. A few years ago, while working at the Experimental Diving Unit, I started a NEDU forum here at Scubaboard that had a little bit of business on it. Now that I've moved on, I wanted to create a new profile associated with the new job.
It is my duty to manage and further the Diving Program for the US Navy. My big interest is in the discovery and development of new technology. Lets face it, diving equipment has not changed much since Mr Cousteau invented the aqualung. I want to change that.
So I'll visit Scubaboard from time to time to see what kind of topics are being discussed and will be interested in hearing from anyone who has ideas or has heard about some new super wham-o-dyne piece of kit. And I'll answer any questions folks might have about the Navy or military diving too, if you like.
