For my TDI cave course I was required to read the TDI manual, Blueprint For Survival, Cave Diving Communications and the NSS-CDS manual. I was encouraged to read any additional information as long as it was from reliable sources.
 
I got my original C1 packet in 2008. We did not have all these materials then.

It was part of my C2 when I enrolled in April or May of 2008. At the time we had to download a zip file from the GUE website after logging in.
 
If your going to engage in an extremely high risk type of diving....you better know what your getting into.
