Water magnifies 25% but even with my old eyes I find it difficult. Thinking about Lasik as a solution. Wonder if anyone here has done this and found it worked?

LASIK help with myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), and astigmatism (curvature of the cornea), but will not correct presbyopia. In fact, patients who have LASIK surgery can develop presbyopia later in life. LASIK neither protects against nor predisposes you to presbyopia.

Lens replacement, the same sort of surgery that you'd have for glaucoma, can help ... it'll cost about $10,000.
