Just a reminder.

Today's dive is planned at a site where we touch down briefly at 125'-130', then head back slowly up the wall. So I requested EAN30.

Picked up the tank last night, and (as always) analyzed the mix.

40%.

40%??

That could really ruin your day. The LDS was shocked, and re-tested with several analyzers.

I kept the mix though. It was N/C, and it'll be great for the shallower 2nd dive.

Just a reminder: Always analyze your gas.

I always analyze my gas in the shop... In case there's a mistake (like in your case). That way, they can bleed and re-mix immediately.

Rick: As I read the subject I thought "Do you trust them with your life?". Followed by "I thought Rick dove alot & I would expect he would know that answer" :D

I like to have the store anaylze the gas while I watch. I also check the mix when getting ready to dive.
