Sorry guys. I actually make the effort to write as much as i can in a comprehensible English (without translator which i maybe should consider), but english is not my mother tongue and I am not bilingual. I do appreciate by the way the corrections. If non US divers with an average level of english are not welcome here, just tell me.
Don’t be turned off by the attitudes of some here - sadly, it supports why US travelers have had a bad wrap for their entitled/world revolves around them attitude.

It was pretty obvious from the context of your post that you were referring to an analog gauge of some sort. A quick Google search (faster than posting to ask what a finimeter is here) confirms it is another name for what we call a submersible pressure gauge (SPG).

You are more than welcome here - just ignore the needless attitudes of some!

What language does "Finimeter" come from? It isn't French.

Google returns hits in Deutch. I had no idea, I thought they use "manometer" like everybody else not English.

I have never used the word "finimeter" myself, but for some reason i was sure it was ok in English. It appears to be a German word, so i must have been reading it on German dive forums. Sorry, english speaking forumers !
There is nothing for you to be sorry for!

Back on topic a bit. During a dive in August I didn't get any gas pressure readings from my iX3M 2 - no big issue for the dive, I always dive with an SPG too.

After the dive and upon inspection I realized that my AI pod was flooded (that semi transparent case has its purpose). Unit was about 2 and a half years old (i.e. no warranty), with about 130 dives, and in general it has been taken good care off. No hits, no drops, or otherwise been abused other than usual diving harassment. Anyway, I went ahead and dropped an e-mail to Ratio to see what can be done (hoping at best for a discount for a new unit).

To my surprise, they offered a free replacement - no questions asked!!

It took a while (just over 2 months) to get the new unit in my hands (August holidays, and then a shortage of new units were the reasons given), but I just received a brand new unit!

Well done and thank you Ratio!
