Fernando is who responded to my inquiries as well when I contacted Ratio.

That's great news that you had this resolved.

I've dove 2 TX's sidemount many times over the years. I finally gave up. The ratio transmitters aren't reliable.
Yeah, I was going to dive 4 TX's, 2 Swifts and 2 Ratios and compare a Shearwater to the Ratio. In general I agree. There's choices Ratio made with assembly/construction that lead me to believe there will be a failure sooner than later. I'm just glad I could turn off the LEDs in the transmitter.
 
My plan was to dive 2 TX's in sidemount, and it seems no one in the US had done that yet at the time. I'm still not sure if anyone in the US has yet.

I did here in Europe, for poor to average results.
But one of the transmitter failed a few weeks ago. Doesn't lit up any more when connected to the reg under pressure. And no connection to the computer. Ratio told me to wait for August 18 after the holy summer holidays. Will do...
