I'm heading to rarotonga next month for a diving based holiday.
Ofcourse i'll be taking my camera to snap some pretty pictures amongst the reef, but i'm also keen to catch a feed or two. Particularly tropical cray's and large pelagic species- wahoo or doggies would be awesome.
I know fish within the reef have Ciguatera so eatting them is a big no no. So to do some spearing or catch some crays I'm gonna have to go beyond the reef.
I'd appreciate it if someone with knowledge or the area could tell me what and where I can take and eat fish/crays, if the depth's for crayfish are suitable for freediving etc.
Cheers inadvance.
