What would be a good place for accommodations if a couple were to dive with Paradise Scuba? I'm not really up for a long car ride to get to a boat. Is there a place with shore snorkeling? Thanks.

Hello!

There are a few hotels nearby that are wonderful - not a lot of shore snorkeling from that immediate area, though. Parguera Plaza Hotel is a nice place, with a pool (and for hungry divers, steak and egg brunch!).
Just across the street and down you'll find Parador Villa Parguera, also very nice, relatively quiet. Both are walking distance to Paradise Scuba/Snorkeling. You might give them a call to ask about shore snorkeling, they are very generous with help/info!

That sounds like a great plan. We love love love Paradise and are intending to go with the others at some point soon. Gotta get back from Roatan first, though! March will be "Dive everything possible in PR" month!

So April 3-4th with Paradise, 6th will attempt Desecheo either with Aquatica or Taino. 5th potentially with Island Scuba.

I'll take you on that. I may have to visit the island in the upcoming month and would like to dive Rincon or La Parguera. I will keep you posted.
