O.K. here's another... I have enjoyed the recent photos and the pool looks wonderful, but there is never anyone in it. Is it cold? I guess with a small hotel the chances that you get pool shots with people in are less than at the huge resorts...

Also, how may rooms would you folks say have been occupied?

Thanks! 5 days...

Caribe Blu was one of the first hotels south of town to reopen after Wilma, so it has been very full since then. When I was there last month it was totally full most of the time.

The pool is not heated, so I didn't go in, but when I am back there in May, I will be in it a lot.

Got back from Coz yesterday and had a great time at Caribe Blu. Yes ... the pool is fairly cold right now. A few people jumped in to cool off after the sun would get too hot, but no one stayed in for long. I'm sure it will heat up quickly as the weather warms ups. Also after a morning of diving, you get more 'snoozers' around the pool on the loungers rather than anyone interested in real pool time.

Was there 2/11-2/19 all rooms full but there are only 20. Most dive in AM so pretty empty untill noon or later, Then PM dives empty about 1/2 again or people snooze or relax on the balconies. Many walk to town. We never felt crowded and we always found company if we wanted it.
Non heated pool is cool now due to cool nights, and they must have a leak. They had to put in 4-5 inches of new water every day.

Ouch. That will keep it cool, even when the sun beats down on it. Also, that is a bunch of freshwater going into the ground every day...

I will second the "roll your clothes" statement, it really works.
