I recently purchased a 7/5 mm Henderson hooded vest with the flow vent on the hood. Diving with it, I find that the hood retains air. Previously I wore a Pinnacle hooded vest that had some holes in the top for venting -- this worked well.

Anyone else have this problem or any tips on how to increase the venting on this hood? (I know that folks poke holes in unvented hoods, but I am worried about doing so with the mfr vent in place...)

Thanks in advance.
