OK so you spent several hundreds of Dollars buying a quality Spear gun. And now you are planning to travel with it by car or plane. Well here is a suggestion as to a way to transport it safetly at a minimum cost. Get a 5-inch or 6-inch PVC pipe at a length at least tsix inches longer than the over all of your gun spear shaft mounted. And two end caps to fit that diameter PVC pipe. 8 feet of 1 inch or 2 inch wide nylon webbing. One small locking hasp and lock, 12 sheet metal screws. Permenately attach one end cap, with 4 screws minimum. Cut two pieces of the nylon strap three inches each, attach to the other endcap and the main PVC pipe, to act as hinges and then the hasp for the lock on the other side. Attach the nylon webbing as a shoulder sling to carry it with at least four screws at each end. Finally write on the length of the main PVC pipe "Fishing Equipment" total cost under $25.00
