A guy is driving home from work, and gets pulled over by a police officer.
The officer walks up to the drivers side window and asks to see the man's licence,
Driver" well, I got a bunch of DUIs and lost my license"
Officer" I see, may I see your registration?"
Driver" I can't show you my registration cuz I stole this car"
Officer" hmmmm, I think you better open up the glove box and show me the registration"
Driver" I don't want to open the glove box, since I have an unregistered gun in there."
At this point the officer calls for back-up and says" OK buddy, get out of the car so I can search it. And open the trunk"
Driver" I don't want to open the trunk, you see I shot someone, and put the body in the trunk.
The officer tells the man to stay where he is. His Sergeant arrives on scene and the officer fills him in on the details.
The sergeant approches the vehicle and asks to see the man's licence. The man hands him his licence. The number is called in and checks out OK.
The seargent then asks for the registration, the man hands it over and it checks out OK
The sergeant searches the glove box and the trunk, no problems.
The sergeant says "whats going on here, my officer tells me that you have no licence, a stolen car, an unregistered gun and a dead body in the trunk?
The man replies "Oh SURE, I suppose he says I was speeding too....
I like telling this one to students while they do their 10 minute surface float
