Dove with PV Scuba last week. Great crew. My girlfriend did her referral open water and also had good things to say about the crew.
Last time in PV, I dove with another larger outfit...good crew and I had a good time but really appreciated the personal attention that I received from PV Scuba and again, the crew was great. I recommend PV Scuba for sure.

Here is an image of a Popeye Catalufa taken at a depth of around 70 ft at Majahuitas. This interesting fish comes up from the deep when the cold waters of the bay rise. Thermocline was at 30 ft yesterday, great visibility under it. Image courtesy of Vallarta Undersea / Ali Hermosillo.

Great subject to photograph, they don't move too much !

Going to los Arcos on Sunday.

Moderate current going from east to west along the slope.

The dive began close to Caletas and went west toward Majahuitas beach resort.

The first 40 ft were green water from the plankon bloom and the temp was 75-73 F . Under 40 feet there was plenty of great cold water coming from deep in the bay , temparature 64 to 62 F at 90 ft, visibility 100 ft. The uwpwelling was really amazing and there was an incredible amount of warm and colder water fish coming from the deep.

It was like diving under a green canopy !! Great stuff.

This is an image taken a few days ago from a Sea Apple while it was feeding, Cucumaria flama is the name of the species . It is actually a species of sea cucumber .

They are to be fund in the southern dive sites in the bay . During this colder water season they are feeding most of the time .
