For an OMS manifold, there are caps that screw on and cover the inner side of the valve.

..The question is: are they the newer (post recall) caps.

weren't the recalls on the "normal" style manifold with plugs instead of caps?

To the best of my memory, there were a early style of OMS caps that looked more "rounded" and got recalled. I will try and find a pic, but I think the improved version have a hex shape on them.

I am sure that if Bill was tied closely with OMS, he would not still be selling caps that were recalled.. Its just nice to be sure.

The old recalled caps were hex shaped and the "new" caps are round with a 6mm Allen socket to tighten to spec. 110"lbs..

When OMS was purchased it is my understanding inventory, which was very minimal, was not included in the purchase.

When DUI bought OMS they sold all the caps - so you need to contact - Welcome to Lake Jocassee Dive Shop, Salem, SC - they will set you up... .

Just called and they have one OMS 3/4 manifold left and about 30 caps, along with all the valve parts.

Cap is about $14.50 and $7 for shipping using a USPS small flag rate box.
