Hello all, just got back from my LDS and was told (once again) that the
PRESSED STEEL scuba tank company is now officially closed for good.
Can anyone confirm or dispell this .
I own a few PST tanks and am thinking of more , but now this :shakehead
any further details would be great......thanx.....Albert:confused:

I wish my friend had more recent info. That's an April release.

True,

The same release is on the PST site:
http://www.pstscuba.com/cgi-bin/nlcurrent.cgi

I have seen many abandoned sites look current years after the demise of a business so take it with a grain of salt.

In this case lacking a bad news story the transition would seem to be happening.

The big question is whether they are delivering tanks. I'm looking into getting a 130 (or two...)

I know we have an LDS still pumping out he 80s. I don't know how much inventory they were sitting on.

Talked to a PST employee a couple weeks back (our kids go to the same school). According to him, PST will indeed be setting up new manufacturing facility. I'll second Bob's offer. Albert Quest, what does a Delorean have to do with scuba tanks???:shakehead If you can find one, I'd buy it. Prices are going up!
