No not a newborn. :shaking: But a newly certified teenager. After a few challenges (OW cert dives in 42F water) and some trouble understanding the questions on the written test, he has today completed all requirements and is a certified diver.
In celebration we went down to the local quarry and did two dives. I'm impressed (and somewhat jealous) of his buoyancy control. He matched me as we traveled slowly along the bottom with no hand waving or roto-tilling in 15 to 25 feet of water along the hummocks. I can only wish I had that kind of control when I started.
He can't wait till the July 26th get together in Brockville.
