I'm a Fish!
Project Seahorse is about getting the kids of Palm Beach County to connect with the wonders of the ocean, by snorkeling.
We have the County Camp system as partners this year, and all the NON-Swimming kids in the county, are going to be seeing their friends having a blast snorkeling...and maybe this will get them to sign up for swimming lessons-so that they don't miss out on all the fun their friends are having.

Florida Freedivers is training the camp kids in June and July in County pools...snorkel training by world class freeedivers--free to the kids....The kids that dont swim, will be seeing this, and there is a big program to get them signed up for swim lessons.

We need one or 2 Lifeguards, willing to be on guard duty in the Aquacrest pool in July ( 3 dates) during the snorkel sessions. Ideally as volunteers, but if we have to, we would pay--but the pay would come from sponsor donations we are targeting for buying gear so the kids can snorkel after we are done teaching them--so they can get gear to snorkel with, even if they cant afford it.

If you are a lifeguard, or know someone that is, please consider helping out....
Here is a video of the starter event we did last year....( 2 dozen kids last year---140 kids this year)
