I concurr with Michael. Look for a Doctor who is a Diver. There is a local doctor here who understands the physiology of diving. So he can give me specific warnings or advice as to my "hobby".

Perhaps she is one that you can leave her at the surface and Scuba the bottom and she will not fault you for it.

I however have not known many who would think like that. I would opt for the snorkel with them about six times in two days and they would get tired of it, them I could SCUBA while they sat by the pool and drank tall frosty's.

BUT Take my Advice with the warning that I am 37 and single (again). :wink:

Most ops (ours included) offer combination dive/snorkel trips, and will allow you to buddy-up with another paying passenger. If you haven't dived during the past year, then you'll probably be required to hire a guide (~$50) on your first trip. Reserve your seats in advance to avoid disappointment. Enjoy!
