I'm diving a primary donate setup, what size hose should I go with? I was thinking 40", but wasn't sure. thanks!

I will be doing braided mi-flex, so there that I need to keep in mind

I run a 40 inch under the arm with a 70 degree elbow at the second stage, and it's ok... a buddy is using 48 inch, and it's much better (on my to do list if I wasn't so cheap).

Respectfully,

James

40" (min) - 60" is useful in recreational diving.

60”

I prefer the seven foot hose. It routes easier and allows two divers to swim side by side or following one another.
