The catheter squeezes and also causes some resistance, this takes a bit of getting used to. You can also try a size larger catheter in addition to what others have suggested.

I'm up and over and never had kinking issues.
 
Thanks for all the helpful comments. I will keep trying to optimize the system. It has been surprisingly stubborn so far. Not quite what I was hoping for especially given the hassle and pain of removing the condom catheter (I do use adhesive remover). I am patient when it comes to tinkering with things and properly motivated.

I found out that I was using too much soap and washing the foreskin of the old chap too much, this meant there was no natural oils and the condom stuck to it even more than normal, especially in cold water. In very warm waters I actually need the extra stick because the glue doesn’t hold quite as well in warm water.

To be honest, I didn’t look at the date, but I posted it because I thought it could be helpful for other people. Thank you for your input.
I just thought it was funny! I try to look at the dates because all to often I find my self doing the same as you did, lol.
