"May [good] fortune favor the Foolish . . ."
Spoken like a true zealot.

Perhaps Paolov's group conducted their deco dives in a less than ideal manner, I dont really know. So let's hear your useful and relevant input/s, if any, otherwise shut up and let them take their own risks and leave them to their own folly, like the true DIR divers do. Because if you believe your DIR procedures would work outside of a DIR-trained team, you are the biggest fool of all.

ok sa segue ah...

LEss than ideal? i really have to disagree.

We did our procedures WELL that we were all smiling even after the dive hehehehehe, normally that's what narc gives me a HUGE SMILE during the dive that is so hard to remove , literally.

THIS DIVE WENT WELL AS FAR AS OUR DIVE PLAN. we had no control of the clouds and visibility , other than that it was an enjoyable dive.

WE HAD FUN, while someone can't dive everyweekend like us PPD !!!!

Some points on the Objectives of Teamwork (taken from the GUE Quest List):
1. The importance of developing a plan and following it.
2. The importance of and reason for reviewing how a plan went
(i.e., lessons learned, how we can do it better, etc.).
3. The importance of standardized procedures.
4. The importance of having the right team for the mission.
5. The importance of having the right attitude.
6. The significance of challenging traditional beliefs and practices,
continuously refining processes.
7. The importance of team communication.
8. The importance of self and situational awareness.
9. Each member has a role that is crucial to the mission.
10. Resources are team resources.
11. Communicate problems before they snowball.
12. Resources are very limited (including time, energy...)
and crucial to the mission.
13. The importance of knowing, communicating, and respecting one's
limitations.
14. Being a team member is a commitment to your fellow team members.
15. Support within a team is two-way, but not something that can
be abused.
16. Stay with the team.
17. Have appropriate, congruent goals - individually, as a team,
and as an organization.
18. Remember to breathe and have fun.<g>
