Seems a little pricy for what it is. If you get time do a search for XS Scuba or aeris bags and compare them. I carry them both, they seem like more bag for the money to me.

It doesn't look like much, but that's actually good. Seals tight, has wheels but most importantly, I can put more gear into these than any regular bag. Many large suitcases and roller bags weigh up to 15 (or even more) pounds. With the airlines being very tight on their restrictions, why would we want to waste 15 pounds on the bags?

These boxes weigh about 3 pounds, giving you a net of 24 additional pounds for gear for two of them. That could be a savings of hundreds of dollars in overage charges.

Not to mention, at about 35 bucks with shipping, if they are damaged (unlikely, they are very tough) so what?

has anyone tried one of these, or anything from them?

Wife and I have a bag like that, probably an earier version. But, I got it 2 yrs ago for under $100. The version you link to seems to be bulkier and redesigned so that it can stand upright on its end. Ours can't do that, which is a bit of a pain at times. Ours holds 2 BCs, 2 sets of fins, snorkels and masks, 2 wetsuits, 2 boat gear bags and miscellaneous other stuff that sneaks in at less than 50 lbs total. (We carry regs and lights separately). The only real complaint I have is that that the fabric on one end has been cut by some baggage handling problem or other. Otherwise, it has been quite durable over about 10 trips thus far.

keep it simple... the bigger a bag the more you can stuff in there... If flying buy something that will do for your needs and still smaller than flight restrictions. Bought a duffle bag much like that one... have had it full on trips twice.

2 rules to remember about all luggage. You can carry weight on your back fairly simple and rugged lasts.
