Possible New MiFlex Lengths and Colors? I Need Your Input!

Hey guys, I have been talking with Mike Piantoni at XS Scuba about adding some additional inventory to the MiFlex hose lineup. What do you think about the need for OXYGEN GREEN in 22', 32", 40", and 84" lengths in the LP hose?

Also, it looks like HP hoses could become a reality. What about HP 6", HP 24", HP 32", and HP 40"?

Give me some feedback right here on this thread. We can't add everything, but a few sizes are possible. Give me your thoughts.

I could live my entire life without owning anything that was oxygen green. We had an avocado green kitchen once when I was a kid, that was enough.

In addition to the HP hoses above, possibly a 26" or 65cm (25.5") HP hose. Basic black of course.

As for additional LP hose lengths (also in basic black), you might consider a 24" LP hose as well as a 72" LP hose.

I'd be interested in a 16"-18" LPI, a 22" LP, and a 24" HP - all in basic black.

You can get two of those today in basic black from Phil: 22" LP and 18" LPI.

Thanks John - I knew there had to be a 22" LP, I just didn't check - I had looked for the LPI hoses before and somehow missed those. So - how about that 24" HP now?

Hi Phil,

I'd like to see GREEN hoses for both LP and HP hoses. I think the HP's in GREEN @ 32" would be good. With respect to the LP hoses, assuming the LP hoses are for both reg and BC hoses, I think all 4 lengths you suggest would be good....if, however, the LP hoses are only for reg hoses, I think the 32" and 40" are good choices ( I think I could find uses for the 22" and 84" ones too, but those 2 lengths tend to be ones the tech/DIR crowd prefers and will have smaller markets...but I can see the 32" and 40" ones being popular for the more numerous 'recreational' crowd.)

How about a 22" LP inflator hose and 26" & 29" LP hoses with 1/2" male threads for older Apeks regs. HP hoses will be a great addition, 24" and 32". Basic black, of course.

Oops, they already make a 22" LP inflator hose. I meant 20".

I would have thought as Miflex hoses go mainstream, pink would be an obvious colour to add.
