Port Charlotte Area

Visiting family in Port Charlotte in June. Looking to go diving with someone that knows area dive sites. Will be NAUI certified on Memorial Day weekend. Looking to dive June 19, 20, or 21, 2005.

There are several board members from this area and I'm sure among us, we can find something for you to do.

I was looking at Venice Beach, wondering how good the shark tooth hunting was.
I was also looking on some of the dive charter websites. Any good sites with sealife to take pictures of.
I figured anyone in the area would recommend some good dive areas.
The toughest part was just to locate someone to dive with. I usually visit Port Charlotte 2-3 times a year. So this will be my first diving after my checkout dives at Dutch Springs. I will be able to dive June 19, 20, or 21.
