Picked up a 6cu pony bottle and reg yesterday. For the price, I couldn't pass it up.

The tank has a standard yoke valve. The question I have is, is there a yoke to yoke fill adapter out there, so I can fill it from one of my 80s?

I figure that this little tank will be suitable for shallow dives, instead of a 40cu tank.

A 6 is suitable for a drysuit inflation bottle, not much else. Have you calculated the max depth you can safely come up from with a 6?

No, I have never seen a yoke to yoke adapter. You'd have to make a whip for it.

Thanks, answered my question!

Here we go again. Not going to comment re. 6cf. That dead horse has been beaten to a pulp.

You have never seen a yoke to yoke adapter????? Not very well informed. Yoke adapters are sold by almost every on-line dealer, though somewhat pricey. Tank to Tank Equalizer with Pressure Gauge

I guess I'd call that a whip. My DIN-yoke adapters or CGA540-CGA870 or CGA540 to 2 pin female are adapters.

I kept looking and found a yoke to yoke transfill whip for $65 new, don't know why it was at that price but it's been fine for me. I later bought a gauge and T so I could check the pressure without more steps.

Good luck

Bob
