I will go with the Suunto. I use a Stinger as the backup to my Cobra, but its almost identical to the Mosquito.
 
The mosquito. It isn't air integrated, but it's conservative and reliable, with user serviceable battery (I don't know about the Atom's battery.)

I think VIE is right, the D9 is a better comparion to the Atom. It's hard to compare integrated to non-integrated.

One thing I heard about the Atom is that the tank pressure is displayed on a separate screen from the default screen with depth/time/NDL info. I think I would hate that, but you get trade-offs when dealing with a small screen. I don't know what the D9 displays on the default screen.

The Atom battery is user changeable.
 
The price and features difference between the two doesn't make for a fair comparison, if you are buying for me I'll take the Atom thank you.
 
I have the atom and like it. I agree that tank pressure on another screen is a slight pain (one button push away), but I also have a backup that I use so the inconvenience is not there for me.
