Tell me it ain't so...
Oh, and I know about turbo charged 4 cylinder 2.0liter motors. One of my pasttimes is building high revving Honda motors for turbo and nitrous.
You aren't one of those "fast and furious" guys are you? Do you drive around in a little car that sounds loud and has a grapefruit launcher for an exhaust pipe?

And just when I was thinking you were a pretty squared away guy you have to go and tell me that you "live your life a quarter mile at a time"..*sigh*

LMAO!! No I am not. I hate graphics, ugly wings, and making cars look like spaceships. I hate people who think because they put because they bought some stuff at pepboys their car is a race car. That annoys the hell out of me. I much more prefer actually building a motor and pushing it to it's extreme. I hate those people who plaster stickers all over their car. Stickers are for toolboxes.

I am just simply someone who likes taking a motor, and seeing what can be done with it. Of course, I LOVE big block Chevy's too. I like cars, no matter what the make. If I can do something to squeek a little more performance out of it, then I will do it.

Fast and the Furious was made for those little kids who think stickers, and funny lights make them fast.

You had me worried for a minute. I had this picture of you in a lime green Civic with a giant wing on the back and a fire extinguisher on the a-pillar revving at me at a light... :)

Yeah...Ricers annoy the hell out of me too...especially since I drive a Subaru Impreza WRX....they all want to "take me on." I let them fly ahead of me so I don't have to hear their coffee can-sized flared exhaust. There are a lot of tasteful ways of tricking out a car....noise isn't one of them.

Oh yeah...SCUBA is a sport. It has physical danger and requires a fair amount of physical conditioning (at least until you get under water! :)). Bottom line is...it's all semantics. SCUBA is fun...don't worry about which box it fits into.

Ugh um no. *shudder* I get enough of that down here.

I do drive a Honda, but it looks almost stock. Only the wheels give it a non stock look. I used to autocross with our local SCCA down here, and the stock wheel/tire combo was not working to well, so they were changed out along with the suspension. As for revving on people, I can not stand people who do that. Everyone down here revs on me at stoplights. Hondas, Fords, Chevys, Toyotas, freggin minivans. I say if you want to race me, meet me at the track. :D

Kinda like my diving rig, everything on my car serves some purpose other than looking good. (good being a very relative term)

I am just a car nut who happens to drive a Honda. I would much rather have a 1970 Plymouth Superbird, but I have to be realistic! LOL!!! :D

A WRX!!! Man, you suck! I love those. They are pretty damn nice cars. Luck bastage! :D

Actually, I can't defend it.

In an effort to keep this a Scuba Board while illuminating my position on the game, yes, I have (tried) watched soccer on TV. Its like watching a bunch of ants chase around an asprin on a ping-pong table. Its completely unwatchable. Defending a goal wider than my garage is not exciting. Low scores are due to the complete inability to kick the ball into that Hanger - not due to stellar, flopping goal keeping.

Ken. You realise that a comment like that is going to bring on a huge flame war, the poms are going to rip you to shreds over that.
Soccer is a sport, its in the olympics for gods sake, to say its not a sport is silly. Just because you dont like it, doesnt mean its not a sport.
I am just assuming that you were being sarchastic, I would hope your smarter than that.;)

especially since I drive a Subaru Impreza WRX....
I have had some of your brethren rev at me before, but nobody is as bad as the Lexis IS300 guys...aside from the true ricers, they are the worst...

IS300 guys? Are you serious?! Aside from the high school kids in their wanna be fast Honda's the worst here are the non turbo Mitsu guys. They think they can fool you into thinking their car is the turbo model. After that, you end up with the V6 Mustang and stock GT boys.

BTW, what do you drive?

The Mustang crowd are always looking to race too...then there's the occasional NSX and Vette...I stay away from them.. I drive an S4.
