The flaw in the quesion, as I see it, is that there is no mention of commercial scuba diving. I would doubt that commercial divers think that what they do is a sport. Just my $0.02

Audi! Nice. I sold my Audi about 6 years ago. It was 7 years old at the time, and took a lot of abuse. I blew up the turbo and the I'm stupid, and just got sick of replacing expensive parts because of the abuse I was putting on them. I bought the Honda just as a vehicle to ride around in, and never even thought about doing anything to it. I mean after all it was a freggin Honda. Then I got bored and decided to play with it. LOL.

BTW, I think we have hijacked this thread!

O-ring once bubbled...

I have had some of your brethren rev at me before, but nobody is as bad as the Lexis IS300 guys...aside from the true ricers, they are the worst...

Yep...that's what happens when you plan to import 10,000 cars and actually import over 35,000...then charge $25k for them so every 18 year old with a job can afford them with mommies help.

I've not run across any obnoxious IS300 guys...just wait until the 350Z and G35 become more popular...or the WRX STi and Mitsu Lancer Evo VIII becomes available....I shudder at the thought.

Cheap horsepower/performance is as dangerous as cheap rebreathers...

I just wish I had an SUV instead...it is hell carrying two sets of doubles and all my other crap in a sedan...

Maybe one of the moderators will either steer this thread back or move all our car crap over to a non-diving related thread...darn hijackers..

That's why I got the wagon! So much more room than in the WRX sedan...the rear seats in the sedan don't even fold down!

...darn hijackers..

Yeah! Those bastards!
;)

How can it be a sport when you see serious divers take a puff as soon as they come out of the water? Especially those euro-divers.

In any serious sport, the fact that one smokes almost puts you out of competitive contention.

What else is it? It ain't a hobby...those dorks building model trains are hobbyists. It ain't a pasttime...chasing women and drinking beer is a pasttime. It has to be a sport...and golf is too for whoever said it wasn't!

A sport is anything that requires physical endurance of some kind. So I have to agree that diving is a sport, although not a competitive one.

Billard is a sport , they have competition all over the place. So is DART throwing at the pub ???????????

Now if Scuba Diving is a sport do you use aerobic or anaerobic muscle ? Before you go on, simply breathing is aerobic and we do it all the time in order to live. Living however is NOT a SPORT ! :) (even though we perform aerobic and anaerobic activities). So is GARDENING !!!!

I am suprise that no one claimed TECH DIVING is Sport and REC DIVING is not. Dont people think tech diving requires more physical capabilities.
