Perhaps a better question would have been to ask if anyone wears it on the left, and why?

(right hip. hose routing.)

Can on right side (hose)...light head on right mostly, but left when required...

Right hip. Route the long hose underneath. On 75% of my dives my pony bottle is slung on my left, so the left just doesn't make sense to me.

While I'm sure there are probably divers out there who do mount it on the left, I have personally never seen anyone with a left mounted canister light.

Interested in seeing how everyone wears their canister lights & the reasoning behind it. I wear mine on my right side because deco tank is on the left. Less clutter. It also gives me somewhere to route my 7' hose to keep it tight.
Roger that.

Mine is on the right to route the long hose and for most of the other reasons mentioned.
