There will be a poker dive at lake Jocassee on Saturday, 10/1/05 starting at 9:00 at the divers ramp. The dive will work like a motorcycle poker run with entrants recieving a card at registration, at each of the 3 the dive platforms off the divers ramp and the final card at the after party at Baileys in Greenville. The entry cost is $40.00 and includes the event, a commemorative T-Shirt, and the after party at Baileys. The band Funktion will be playing live at Baileys. You can register at Downunder Dive Center (864) 967-7000 (ask for Charles or Rose) or ask if there will be site registration. All proceeds go to Hospice of the Upstate - ask anyone about Hospice if you don't know. They help terminal patients with dignity and compassion and are very well respected in this area. They are a non-profit orginization so you entry fee or any donation is tax deductible. Prizes include a $660.00 regulator, underwater camera, and other high end gear.
