point lobos in April

You guys are awesome, thanks so much. I feel like I've been there, can't wait for April!

Just be aware that the water temp tends to drop sometime in late March or April, owing to upwelling from the Monterey Canyon. We've been enjoying balmy 53 deg. water temps in Monterey recently, but it will probably be 46-48 (if not colder) at Lobos then - ISTR someone reporting 43 deg. once, but that's probably within the margin of error for our temp gauges.

Point Lobos is beautiful. You can ask other divers there where to drop down, everyone is very helpful. To make reservations at pt. Lobos click on Point Lobos State Natural Reserve - Scuba. and you can make reservations online.
