October 11 Meeting
The central topic of the October gathering will be a presentation by David and Barb Heap of their recent cenote dive outing in Mexico. They spent several weeks on this trip and were taken to several rarely visited areas. This is a great opportunity to talk about lighting and the trials and tribulations of diving and photographing in this environment.
With the three month agreement with Sean O'Donnell's up, we will also discuss topics for the next quarter, along with meeting times and locations that work best for most folks. If you have locations, times, and dates that work best for you, please let us know!
Up-Coming Trips
Below are a list of up-coming trips and a description of photo opportunities. There is no travel agent affiliation, and if there are sufficient participants for discounts, it is shared among all travelers. If any of these look interesting, give Dan a call at 425.418.8755.
11/07/2009- Hood Canal with Pacific Adventures. Three tank dive, including night dive looking for GPO's. Boat Full.
04/25/2009-05/02/2010- Placencia, Belize Whale Sharks. Three days of whale shark dives, three days of reef diving. $1,215 includes lodging, diving, flight and transfer from Belize City to Placencia. Does not include air to Belize City or meals.
06/07/2009-06/12/2009- Pelican Bay, Bahamas Dolphin, Shark, and Reef Photography. If you have seen Linda Perry's screen saver of a dolphin kissing her, you will know why we are working with UNEXSO to set up dolphin and shark dives.
Photo Review
If you have a photo you would like reviewed or commented on, please feel free to either bring an approximately 8 by 10 sized print to the meeting, or e-mail a medium format JPG that is approximately 1280 sized to PNWUPS Photo Review, or bring them on a thumb drive to the meeting.

PNWUPS meetings are held 2:00 PM, the second Sunday of each month, in the meeting room at Sean ODonnells Restaurant, 122 128th St SE, Everett 98208, 425.338.5700.
