I guess sharks and bears are different that way, huh.

I agree with this... I've been diving at Halfmoon every year for the past 6 years and I've never seen, or heard of anyone feeding them. I have had numerous sharks show great interest in my strobes... In fact one of them has the cutest little bite marks in the rubber ring around the end. I agree that the recycling "whine" attracts and annoys them. I also think that my Ikelite stobes on long black arms resemble speared lionfish...
I now carry Micro-mesh for buffing shark-nose scuffs outta my acrylic dome...
Again, if one lives in fear of marine life, then dont expose ones self to the marine enviroment.
Overstatement always weakens a position, and you've compounded your error by repeating it. There is zero evidence that anyone who has posted in this thread "lives in fear of marine life." It is patently obvious that on an internet scuba diving board, the members like to kick it in a marine environment.
Troy G I'm sorry you are fearful. Perhaps you should quit feeding the sharks in Belize? You are making Mike nervous and RayAllyn is bringing in studies from Florida to support the no feeding contention.
