Denise, I am still thinking of your Grandson and praying for him. What is his name? How old is he? Kids are usually so much stronger than adults and have remarkable abilities to heal. We are praying here for him. Keep the faith.

His name is Zach. He is a sweet, precious and wonderful child. My Mom, who is 77, is having trouble walking right now. I got her in the car and drove the 2 hours to the hospital and had to get her a wheel chair to make it to where he was. When we visited him in ICU, there were 4 generations present, my Mom, me, my daughter and Zach. We are a close family. There is power in that. I kept thinking of a song I use to hear in revivals, "In this very room"

  • In this very room there's quite enough love for one like me,
And in this very room there's quite enough joy for one like me,
And there's quite enough hope and quite enough power to chase away any gloom,
For Jesus, Lord Jesus ... is in this very room.
And in this very room there's quite enough love for all of us,
And in this very room there's quite enough joy for all of us,
And there's quite enough hope and quite enough power to chase away any gloom,
For Jesus, Lord Jesus ... is in this very room. In this very room there's quite enough love for all the world,
And in this very room there's quite enough joy for all the world,
And there's quite enough hope and quite enough power to chase away any gloom,
For Jesus, Lord Jesus ... is in this very room.

Denise -

Zach remains in our prayers, and in the palm of His hand

Thank you...for what greater place to be..than in the palm of his hand.

Many continued prayers for you and your family Denise.

Prayers daily and more often, Denise, especially for the strength for your family to deal with what God has put on your plate this year -- With God, all things are possible. :hugs:

Praying for Zach and your family today. Glad you got a little good news yesterday. Praying today brings a little more.

Ronald McDonald House is wonderful. The one in Pensacola is at 5154 Bayou Blvd. Phone: 850-477-2273. Call that number. They ask you to call them 24 hours in advance if possible but they have had people walk right in. They ask for a total of a$10 donation per night, but if their is a financial hardship they waive that. It is a total of $10 for the room, not per person.

They do have rooms available today.

Can someone get this message to Denise? I know it will be a while before she checks the board. It would be nice if they could spend those 4 hours resting instead of being on the road.
