Since I took a part-time job in a big dive store (after I retired from full-time diving), I've been shocked at the amount of disposable plastic used by the diving industry. It made me write an article about it for Undercurrent. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a link but here it is anyway! Plastic is Suffocating the Ocean: Undercurrent 01/2018

Good article and a subject worth talking about frequently. However I noticed you state "Glitter should be banned around the world, as it is in California"

This is an inaccurate statement. As someone who lived in California up until this past November, glitter is not banned! What California actually did was place a ban on products such as facial scrubs and body wash which contain microbeads.

Glitter is just as widely used in California as it is in any other state, more so probably. Just making a helpful observation.
