We just got back. We encountered no issues with our travel (went through Cairo to Hurghada) and Hurghada didn't look or feel any different from two years ago. The reefs were the same as I remembered, although we saw no sharks this trip -- but we saw loads of other stuff! Prices didn't seem to have dropped much, but I think the Marriott in Hurghada was a little cheaper than I remembered it being two years ago. There were lots of dive boats out, and they seemed to have a full complement of divers.
