I learned to dive in Koa Toa ,actually on Nang Yuan the little islands of of koa toa .All of my first lessons where held in the Japaneses garden being surrounded by fish and the occasional topless bathing beauty although kind of blaa for real dives it sure beats learning in a pool.
After i got certified i dived all over koa toa and although we hit the same spots quiet a few times i never had a dull moment , titan trigger fish attacks on my first dive (bastard put a hole in my fin tip),sea, snakes, turtles,on other dives. And on my first night dive which ended back in the Japaneses garden(surprise surprise) upon surfacing i had to fend of some large brown terrestrial snake swimming home . So boring sea life i just can't agree .though the whale sharks are mythical beasts ..he he
what I'm getting at is I'd go back ,though i don't look forward to the diving partners that took mushrooms the night before
