Photoshop elements vs. Picasa2

I am using both Picasa2 and Photoshop.
I wouldn't use Photoshop for every photo's, if I can use some simple functions to get a quick fix for relatively large amount of photo, I'd use Picasa2. For several chosen photo's, I actually want to perfect them.
e.g. Picasa2 can change the tone from more satuated (rich) to less, warm to cold.
But photoshop can allow me to tune each element of RGB (correct me if I am wrong).
I can blurr the background to outstand the foreground obj etc.

You can also download a trial version of photo shop at its site and try it out.

I have/had 2 sets. One in the US one in Germany...I would call the ones in the US Grandma and grandpa to make it easier to keep them apart....they were insulted, they wanted to be oma and opa :wink:
