Phillipines Backpacking & Diving

Hi,

Can anyone give me please info about backpacking and good diving locations, dive bases in Philippines, I'm a Water Sports guy who's working since many years in tourism, but now I wanna go there for a few weeks for whale shark & shark photography, i need a simple room, bungalow, with a clean bed and a clean shower.
Any good information about backpacking & diving in Philippines?

We saw many backpacking tourists on our time in Guimaras Island. The have good places for backpackers. It looks like Boracay in the old time.

Not sure about whale sharks but you can certainly find a cheap room at alona in the 600 to 800 Peso range..

Off-season you can get a room with fan in Puerto Galera for P800

There are some small sharks there but don't know about whale sharks - I hear they have them in Donsol

Whale sharks is in Donsol. But April is d season when d butanding comes up for d planktons. Lots of cheap & clean accommodations. Food is yummy. Look for Carina Escudero. She knows everything there is to know there.
