oh, the buses in the province, even the airconditioned ones, are not as good as the ones in manila (Tritan, Jam, etc). and in most cases, theyre a little smaller (but obviously bigger than a taxi). but if you are a seasoned backpacker, that shouldn't worry you at all, though. besides, its always cheaper to commute. :wink: thats another (additional) dive or two for you, pitri. :)

oh yes, shugar. i was a beach bum (i think, i would still be even when theres diving involved now) ever since. id crawl towards a newly discovered beach if i have to.

but this scuba diving thing IS really expensive. i hope i wont go bankrupt in a year's time. lol!

ha! who says the provincial buses are fugly. . . this one we took going back to Cebu have plasma TV! The buses you guys are talking about are those that are a size of a mini van, what we took is a bigger one.

And the buses are pretty fast, try ROUGH RIDERS . . . . they are truly THE KING OF THE ROAD.

ah yes, Rough Rider buses... saw a couple of them just blow by my car on the road to Maya...
