Thanks for the information. I am actually looking to rent a villa in a seculded private area.. Any suggestions or links you can send me to look into? Want somewhere private.
well how private and how secluded? the most secluded private villa with diving to be had is amanpulo... but it's lifestyles of the rich and famous over there (read: $$$$$$$$$$$$)

but then again where else other than hollywood would you get to share a beach with tom cruise, robert de niro and spoon's dad in law

Stevediver,
As shugar said, Amanpulo is at the top of the list, http://www.amanresorts.com/pulo/home.htm but it cost a lot of money. Another option would be Nami private villas, http://www.travelsmart.net/ph/resorts/Boracay/Nami/

I havent been in any of these places, I've just heard of them. Cheers.

Ah Nami villas are situated on a hill overlooking the white beach of boracay. Rooms have their own jacuzzis in the balcony of each room. Great to chill out, watch the sunset and dream for more time to spend in the place....

There are only 2 divesites I like in Boracay though..Yapak (pelagics, sharks, barracudas) and Crocodile Island (critters and more critters).

Sweet! Thank You. I emailed the Nami resort to put together a package price for 15 days in May of 2007. Thanks for the information...

Steve; I learned to dive in Boracay 2002,great place to dive. In 2005 Nov. my wife and I were in Puerto Galera, also great diving.
In Puerto Galera we dove through Action Divers, and stayed at Deep Blue Sea Inn. Action Divers has a web site actiondivers.com you can make all arrangements through them. Deep Blue Sea Inn was an economy choice for us, but there are other places.
Puerto Galera is a couple hour drive from Manilla, then a short boat ride, Action Divers can arrange transportation if needed.
Boracay has the better beach, Puerto Galera has more dive sites. Boracay is a plane flight away, (less than 1 1/2 hour).
You'll enjoy either, but you'll become addicted to the Philippines.

If you want seclusion with the utmost privacy, amanpulo is the ultimate choice. the whole island was designed to be that way but with the convenience of servants and other modern amenities.

When you arrive you will be handed a golf cart that you will use to shuttle to the different areas of the island. Its good place for honeymooners.

private, secluded and pretty affordable (lots affordable than aman pulo, anyway):

el nido, palawan or dos palman, puerto princesa (also in palawan)

i love palawan :D
