Dennis, I forget if I asked you this before, but do you leave your strobes on ettl or manual?

I use TTL for Macro and then I use 1/2 power for WA, Dear Leader. Sometimes I'll use full power depending on the situation. I haven't been using diffusers for any of these shots but I'll try them next week.
