Hey Matt,
Dan harvey here. roros from iloilo to bacolod are not daily, running thrice a week.sat,sun, and wed if i remember. they do however have many trips a day via typical fast bullet boats. i think your whole intent is to drive so you're really going to have to plan the trip or get stuck for a few days. check negrosnavigation.ph for updated schedules for routes in negros. bacolod to dumaguette can be a long drive, depending on construction but i do agree on taking the san carlos route. if you want any tips in the bacolod area or if your staying there let me know, its my hometown.
