I dont think so most mask's need to be cleaned first real good with toothpast non scrubbing kind and rinsed well and then as needed anti fogging solution, most people forget to clean there mask real good first time.
 
Use plain ol' Crest for the best in cleaning... just be sure to NOT use any "mint" flavored ones as the aroma can cause your eyes to tear.
 
I breathe out my nose a lot... fewer bubbles in front of my face and my mask stays crystal clear. If you get it "squeaky clean" and use your tongue to de-fog it, you will not have any problems.
 
i have a purge mask and have no fog issues. I used toothpaste and a electric toothbrush to clean both sides.
