I would like to know if anyone has ever used a patch such as an inner-tube patch for a Viking drysuit? This particular suit is rubber, and the spot in question is about 1/4" spot with mild cracking. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I went through a Sport 90X and two HDs before I accepted that Vikings were just too fragile, very comfortable and wonderful to dive when they were leak free, but very prone to punctures and cracking, particularly along seam edges. I haven't used one in in over 20 years as a result.

However, to answer your question, yes inner tube patches and glue work perfectly well. I'd go for a motorcycle puncture repair kit rather than a bicycle one as the patches are a bit larger and will cover a 1/4" spot.
