Parrotheads Sound Off!!

I woke up this morning to 27 degrees and an ice storm in Michigan. I had to use deicer to unlock my car door and scrape down all the windows. This was all in the dark because we lost power after the ice storm knocked down a tree on a power line.

So as drove to work I started day dreaming about my January trip to Cozumel, my little Margaritaville for a week. I started to think about past and future trips to quick windows of paradise.

As I have jumped around this board, I have noticed quite a bit of refrences to the great Jimmy Buffet and his songs. My guess is that there are a lot of Parrotheads out there. So how about a little sound off...where has diving taken you, that you consider your Margaritaville. Any retated subjects are welcome on the thread.

umm yeah, it's currently 20 degrees with 3-6 inches of snow. The weird thing is a week ago it was 75, but that's Oklahoma weather for ya. I'm dreaming of Turks and Caicos, and I'm about to book a trip for January to leave this cold behind, at least for a week.

last weekend I went diving, it was -8 F air temp and warmed up to 8 F by the end of the day and the water was 38. I definately could use a trip to a place with palm trees. Cozumel would work for me. In the mean time I will put on a little Buffet and dream.

Changes in Latitude.... Oh man, South of here.... Years ago I fell I love with La Buena Vida in Akumal... I hear it's not the same though, so Bonaire or some particular harbor!!!!

Im not a Parrot Head per se but, Jimmy Buffet has made my day many of times. When I have been on the boat for weeks or sometimes even months and we are finally in the channel about to touch dock I start playing "CheeseBurger in Paradise" and every knows its time to scramble from the boat and find a Beer.
Also I have a dream that Im at an island bar with my feet in the sand having a round with everyone when Jimmy walks in and gets drunk with us then plays some tunes. I figure if I keep going to bars like this and having drinks It may happen, never know.
