Parking for comal river

I'm looking to dive the comal river this week. I plan to drop in at landa park and leave my car there.

I would like to ride the river all the way down to the last public access at S Union Ave. Then ditch my gear, walk the streets back to may car, and drive back for my gear.

Just wonder where a good spot is to park my car when I have to load all my gear back up near S Union Ave.

If that doesnt work out I'll probably end up just doing the short drift at the top 3-4 times.

I assume when you ditch your gear, someone will be staying with it while you go get the car. If not, I'd go with the short drifts. They're not too short if you enter the water at the upper most steps and swim up river a bit.
