Thanks Jodi for the clarification. If the patient's name isn't given how does that violate confidentiality? I don't think any of us need to know who the woman, just that she is OK.
Even acknowledging the case could be a breach of confidentiality...It's really hard to explain, but health professionals are not suppose to acknowledge any of their cases outside the health care profession....sorry I can't give you a better explanation than this.
