Panama City Divers,

My wife and I will be tagging along on my brothers Open Water Certification in Panama on the weekend of July 15th. We might do the Vortex spring dive on Friday just to refresh; however, on Saturday and Sunday we want to get in some good dives. If anyone out there can give some suggestions regarding wrecks, reefs and spearfishing, including which charters are the most fun, please drop me a line

Thanks

well, if you're tagging along on their open water cert, then you're most likely going to go where ever their boat goes. Which for open water cert's, will most likely mean 60 feet or less.

Check out the book "Underwater Guide to Florida" by Ned Deloach. It's a great book and has all kinds of info on these sites.

It's about $13 bucks at Books-a-million and Amazon

You can get some cheaper copies of the book from http://www.half.com, but
they are older versions. I think the above published versions are late 2004
or early 2005 updated.

Good suggestion..I forgot I had that book..as far as his OP cert..I just meant we will be going with him for the weekend because by Sunday he will have his temp card; were not gonna be tagging on for his actual dives...so, please if anyone has info, pass it along.
